Evaporative cooling occurs naturally. For example, while sweating our body’s perspiration evaporates and absorbs heat to produce a cooling effect. To convert a liquid to vapor, heat needs to be applied. During evaporation, this heat is removed from the water to make it cooler.

An evaporative cooling system utilizes the same method as perspiration to offer cooling for buildings and machinery. A cooling tower reduces water heat and gives out warm air. This application is used in the HVAC sector as closed- and open-circuit equipment for heat rejection.

What are Indirect Direct Evaporative Cooling Systems?Indirect Direct Evaporative Cooling Systems use a 2-stage cooling method (indirect/direct). It is a more energy-effective cooling option compared to refrigerant cooling (regular air conditioning), but cannot be used for all cooling products. With this system, the primary air stream is first cooled with indirect evaporative cooling and then cooled again using direct evaporative cooling.

Uses of 2-stage Evaporative CoolersA 2-stage evaporative cooler offers many advantages. It can provide cool air indoors with humidity in the range of 50% to 60% while direct evaporative solutions typically deliver air with about 70% humidity. Further, indirect direct evaporative cooling systems can utilize 60% to 75% less electric power compared to traditional AC systems based on refrigerant. Thus, they are a better option to conserve energy and are ideal for places with a dry or hot climate. What is an Industrial Air Conditioner? As the name suggests, an industrial air conditioner is used for industries and enterprises as compared to comfort air conditioners which are meant for people. Industrial air conditioners have characteristics such as elimination of contaminants, an increase in filtration levels, precise control of humidity, and steady temperature level.

Industrial air conditioners are used in products like printing presses where it is important to control humidity for the precise impact of multi-color prints; textile companies to minimize static electricity and prevent fiber hacking; clean rooms for making electronic equipment; making of photo materials, and in various laboratories. A major difference between comfort and industrial air conditioners is high precision temperature control which is needed for the latter.

What is HMX-Ambiator?HMX is a brand of the A.T.E. Group and it offers a range of cooling products. HMX-Ambiator is a comfort A/C system that can be leveraged for cooling vast spaces for process needs and to provide a comfortable working environment for employees in a range of industries. The application functional more effectively compared to ventilation systems and air washers.HMX-Ambiator can be used for commercial and industrial cooling and ventilation. It can be utilized for comfort and process air cooling in dining areas, kitchens, wellness centers, gyms, halls, hospitals, hotels, offices, malls, auditoriums, and finished goods and raw material warehouses.

About A.T.E. GroupA.T.E Group was founded in 1939, and today, it's business operations encompass fields such as wastewater treatment, textile engineering, cooling, flow technology, IoT for industry, solar heating, print, and packaging equipment, and more.
