Juicing can boost your health in so many ways. Not only are you injecting your body with vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, and other healthy stuff, you are doing so in a 100% natural way. This is also the reason that juicing is great for weight loss!!! Although some fruits are high in sugars and calories, the way your body processes them is much different than other sweets. Fruit juices therefore make a sweet, super tasty snack that is great for your health!

If you are looking for juicing recipes for weight loss, try adding some vegetables to your fruit juices. Most vegetables tend to be much lower calorie than most fruits, mainly because they have less sugars. For example, let´s compare.

Banana – 200 g banana has 177 calories. **Don´t be fooled by numbers…although bananas are high calories, and high sugars, they can be great for weight loss!

Tomato – 200g tomato has 36 calories

Apple – 200g apple has 104 calories

Celery – 200g celery has 33 calories

By using juices to substitute other foods from your diet that are high calorie and full of empty calories, you will be on the road to a much healthier you. This could include weight loss, better skin, more energy, and better brainpower. Not sure how to create your own tasty juices? Here are a few juicer recipes for weight loss that are delicious, easy, and low-calorie!

Super Tomato Juice

3 ripe tomatoes

  • cucumber

1 stalk celery

1 tsp salt

  • tsp pepper

As you see above, tomatoes are very low calorie but are extremely healthy. Add to juicer and enjoy!

Green Orange Juice

1 tbsp ground ginger or 1-inch piece washed

2 large navel oranges

1 tbsp wheatgrass. If you can´t find wheatgrass, substitute with baby spinach

This juice is quick, easy, and delicious, and kids love the "green" orange juice! Just add those ingredients to your juicer, and enjoy it! This one can also be made in a blender. Juice the oranges, grate the ginger and add the ingredients to the blender. Blend until smooth.

Spinach and Banana Smoothie

1 cup of washed baby spinach

1 banana

  • cup of milk or water

This smoothie combines one super vegetable with one super fruit, making a super smoothie. Try with both milk and water, they both taste quite different!

Surtido

2 apples

1 beet

1 small cucumber

2 carrots (organic or local, if possible, they are always much sweeter)

2 stalks celery

2 large carrots

Scrub the root vegetables clean, and add to the juicer. This one is like taking a liquid multivitamin!

This one is a classic, perhaps one of the best juicer recipe when it comes to combining fruit with vegetables. You get a great Vitamin C boost, lots of beta carotene, not to mention tons of anti-oxidants. Its sweet and easy to drink, so is even good for kids!

Add one carrot and two oranges to your juicer. And voila!
