Hyderabad has grown gently beyond its Nizami history into a bubbling city with IT, business and sports throwing their weight like no-where else. The beauty of the city is how it seamlessly blends the ancient and modern, in one big melting pot of cultures, languages, customs and people like no other city. Hyderabad has emerged and has been expanding its footprint on the map for more things than the Chaminar, its biryani and pearls. It is one of the safest cities in the country, embracing everyone - its vibrant nightlife is a testimony to that fact.

The best nights are spontaneous, unplanned and happen all of the sudden! Still, let's take you through things that might not have occurred to you, but could be an awesome way to experience Hyderabad nightlife in all its glittery, glitzy glory.

Hit the dance floor: Wherever you began your day, pubs in Hyderabad are the right place to end your night with delicious food, fantastic bars and scintillating dance floors. From places that tune you into the party mood the moment you step in, to private party zones - Dance pubs in Hyderabad have it all. With a stellar reputation for drawing some of the best DJs from all over the country, pubs in Hyderabad are "the" places for meeting for a fun night of big beats, late nights and dancing.

Karaoke your heart out: Karaoke clubs are those dainty little places where bathroom singers and Indian Idols unite and unwind. The pleasure that kicks in when you sing your favourite song is unparalleled.; and when that song is amongst your gang of friends - the joy exponentially quadruples! Hyderabad has a healthy Karaoke scene - scream your lungs out or sway gently to a tune - it is entertainment guaranteed.

Go, Go-kart, Gone! : Head to Shamshabad, right around the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and push the pedal! Kart away to your adrenaline's content, with the arena being open upto 4 am. Or head onto the other end of the city to Hasten Go-Karting which promises that the fun goes beyond its track with its great lounge and food court to complement the karting experience.

That late night cuppa : Whether it's an after party espresso shot, or just a midnight coffee call - anytime is coffee time, for humanity runs on coffee! Accompanied by some out of the world local talent at a lounge or resto-bar, or some mind blowing jazz over a warm, comforting beverage, it spells the formula for a perfect night.

Binge on some Biryani : Now, aren't Hyderabad and Biryani synonymous? And, midnight biryani - why not? for all those late night hunger pangs or just pure, innocent biryani cravings, go ahead and indulge. While google recommends the popular midnight biryani joints, remember - In Hyderabad, Biryani isn't just another dish, it's an experience! It doesn't end there - gorge on other delicacies like kebabs, baida roti, haleem (when in season), marag, paaya and so much more.

Drive around the old city: Bustling, hustling and charmingly chaotic during the day; colourful, sparkly and inviting as the night takes over - the vintage part of Hyderabad being beautiful in the night is an understatement. Everything around is like being seen through a sepia filter, as the aroma of kebabs overpowers your senses, hawkers still around with their wares on display, you can't but help be drawn in. Sip some Irani chai while you dunk your Osmania biscuit into it, with Charminar as the backdrop, chat with the locals over scrumptious midnight masala dosa at various joints that have sprung up, head to Char Khamaan for a breathtaking view of Charminar and the old city skyline - you are sure to be transported in time!

Eat, Shop, Repeat : If a drive through the old city was overwhelming, wait till you visit the night bazaar at Charminar during the holy month of Ramadan. This special night bazaar, open only during Ramadan, is a shopper's haven. Clothes, accessories, food stalls, trinkets - soak up the festive fervor and some "andaaz" that's home only to Hyderabad.

Do it like the nineties: If you are a millennial, you would remember the thrill of watching a night show, and still turning up at school next day. If you aren't a millennial, you should replicate the experience, and relive the delight yourself! Catch up with friends and family over popcorn-cola or samosa-chai at swank multiplexes that dot the city, or if you feel adventurous, watch a regional film at one of the stand alone screens. Head to the all night food courts, feast on food where you are spoilt for choice - to finish the classic nineties "adventure"

Whether a night out is your Friday night philosophy, or a post work plan, Hyderabad has hidden gems to offer. Go ahead, indulge!
