2- Destination Australia Award

Under this scholarship, the government of Australia provides financial support to international students who wish to study in regional area of Australia. DAS provides financial guidance for up to $15000 to every student individually.

3- International Post Graduate Research Scholarship

International Post Graduate Research Scholarship or IPRS focuses specifically on those students who want to excel in research master degree or research doctorate program. IPRS is granted to both Domestic and international students. The scholarship covers tution fees and health cost of the candidate.

Eligibility

• Student must qualify student visa requirement.
• Student must be an international student
• Student must enrol in a research based program
• Student must not have received Australian grant in the 2 years before the beginning of the program.

University Specific Scholarship

University specific scholarships are granted by the top universities of Australia to the eligible student who wishes to go abroad in order to complete their education. Listings below are some of the scholarship provided by the universities-

1- University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarship

This scholarship in particular is a tuition fee suspension scholarship granted to international students who want to pursue bachelors program from the University of Melbourne. Under this scholarship, student’s expenses such as living allowance, relocation grant, tuition fee and paid stick are funded by the university itself.

• Student must be an international student
• Student must meet the entry requirement for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne.

2- Adelaide Scholarship International

Adelaide Scholarship is awarded to high achieving students who want to study masters or doctoral program in any subject provided by the university in Australia. Adelaide Scholarship is awarded for 2 years to the students undertaking master’s course and 3 years to the students taking doctoral program. The scholarship covers up tuition fee, living expenses and oversees health care. Scholarship will be awarded on merit and research.

Eligibility

• Candidate must enrol as an international student
• Candidate must have completed 4 year degree with a major research project in the final year.
• Candidate must have cleared English proficiency test

3- University of Sydney International Research Scholarship

University of Sydney grants scholarship to those students who want to undertake post graduate research degree or program in Australia. This scholarship in particular focuses on students who want to excel in research programs. The scholarship covers tuition fee and accommodation expenses for up to 3 years.

Eligibility

• Student must meet the entry requirement of Research program.
• Student must not hold research degree equivalent to Australian Research degree
• Student must have excellent command over English Language

Bursary or Need Based Scholarship- A Bursary or need based scholarship is an international full time scholarship which is granted to students whose financial status is below that normally expected to fulfill all living expense and tuition fee obligations without assistance.

Demographic Based Scholarship - Demographic based Scholarships are specific to a students demographic background, for example, one’s location, age and gender. One’s age, gender and location is considered in order to fulfill the requirement of Demographic Based Scholarships.

University or Course Based Scholarship – University or Course based scholarship programs are dependant on the university and course you apply for and vary from time to time depending on which programs the university wants to promote or increase enrollments for.
