- The first way towards carpet deodorisation is the treatment of stain or odour causing a stain in the carpet if any. Clean the stained patch with a wet cloth rinsed with detergent and get rid of all the staining debris and fluid.
- Now you need to prepare a solution of hot water with white vinegar both taken in equal parts. Pour this solution into an empty spray bottle.
- Take the spray bottle and some drops of above mentioned natural oils in it. Make sure you don't sufficient amount of oil so that it can help with carpet deodorisation.
- Now spray the vinegar and oil solution over the affected and smelling part of the carpet. You can also spray this solu8tion over to the complete surface of the carpet for better carpet odour removal results. Let the solution cover the carpet completely and leave it there for a while.
- Now take baking soda powder and sprinkle the powder over the carpet;’s surface. Sprinkle the baking soda powder on the carpet extensively and cover it with the powder completely.
- Baking soda and white vinegar have strong dour absorbing and sanitising properties. Let the solution and baking soda powder rest on the carpet for an hour.
- Take a brush and use it to clean and rub the carpet again and again. Remove all the debris, dust and baking soda pastings before vacuum cleaning.
- Using a vacuum cleaner, clean the carpet’s surface thoroughly. Run the vacuum cleaner all over the carpet and eradicate all the remaining baking soda powder. After finishing you will observe the carpets smelling fresh and fragrant,
