Hydrating face masks is truly the Holy Grail product that every winter bride-to-be, needs. We know how the skin tends to be dry during this season so we have picked out some of the best hydrating face masks that will help you glow on your D-day. You obviously don’t want your skin to be dry and parched on your wedding day. Yes, drinking water is essential but these hydrating face masks will help you grow even better.

Always wash your face properly and then apply masks for better results. Make sure there is no makeup applied as it may lead to side effects.

Shaadi Wish girls have curate a list of some amazing hydrating face masks that are must for all the winter brides. We recommend you to start pampering your skin way before your wedding so that the only thing that shines is you. Here are some DIY hydrating masks for the bride-to-be.

Banana-Honey-Baking Soda

Hydrate and exfoliate your skin in one go with this face mask. The honey is natural humectants while the soda helps to gently exfoliate. The potassium in a banana hydrates and moisturises dehydrated skin, the vitamin A in it heals dryness, while the vitamin B protects against free radicals, and the amino acids maintain skin elasticity and strength. Mash half a ripe banana and add 1 tsp honey and 1 tbsp baking soda to it. Apply this paste to your skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. When washing it off, gently scrub it out before cleaning it all.

Yoghurt-Jojoba Oil-Banana

Yoghurt helps moisturise, hydrate and nourish dry skin with its calcium and lactic acid content. Jojoba oil balances the moisture in the skin by acting as both a substitute for and complement to sebum, and helps the skin produce the optimal level of oil required to moisturise the skin. Banana, as mentioned above, is a major moisturiser for skin. Take half a ripe banana and mash it. Add ¼ cup of yoghurt to this and 1 tsp jojoba oil. Apply this to your face and keep it on for 10 minutes before you wash it off.

Avocado-Aloe Vera-Olive Oil

Avocados are charged with antioxidants and vitamins that help in hydration and retaining moisture in your skin. Olive oil is both hydrating and anti-aging, while aloe Vera helps fight off bacteria. Crush half an avocado and add 1 tsp olive oil and 1 tsp aloe Vera gel to it. Continue for 10 minutes before washing it off. Apply this over a bowl or the sink as it can get messy.

Oatmeal-Egg White-Coconut Oil

This mask also helps to exfoliate the skin, add moisture as well as retain the moisture in skin. The coconut oil sinks into the deepest layers of your skin for ultimate moisture. The oats are natural humectants that helps your skin retains moisture, while the egg white tightens and brightens the skin. Add 1 tsp coconut oil and the egg white of one egg to a handful of oats. Apply this mask carefully as it can be soiled. Keep it on for some time before washing it all off.
