LLB or Bachelor of Law/Laws is an undergraduate law course offered by various Indian universities. The course duration is 3-year for which the minimum eligibility criterion is graduation and the other is the integrated course of 5-year duration for undergraduate students. For pursuing law, there are two options – 3 year course and integrated 5 year course. To enroll in the integrated 5 year course (B.A. LL.B. or B.B.A.LL.B.), a student need to clear entrance exams like CLAT, AILET etc. But the three year program can be availed only after graduation. Generally, LLB application process begins around the beginning of the year, and the entrance exams are held during summer.

Direct admission is the process by which a student can gain entry to a college for a particular course. The student who gets entry into a college through this process has to pay a little more than a candidate who secured the admission through entrance tests or through examination scores.
