Single Girder EOT Cranes:-

  • Vedant Cranes are being manufactured with high technical standards of German Engineering supported by Demag Cranes & Components. The crane girders and other structural fabricated parts are manufactured as per Demag standards, design & drawings.
  • Vedant make Single Girder cranes are modular in construction using standard Chain or Wire rope hoist. Compact and light weight design ensures lower building space, most optimum utilization of floor space and lower building loads
  • Vedant Make Single Girder Cranes ranges between 250Kg to 25Tons. Lifting Load Capacity.
  • Single girder bridge cranes are often the most cost-effective lifting solution for various applications and industries. Single girder cranes use less material and are more compact and lightweight, which results in a significant cost-savings in material, freight, and installation. Also, because they only require one bridge beam, these systems typically have less deadweight, meaning they can utilize lighter runway systems and tie into the existing building support structure.

Advantages of a Single Girder Design:

  • Less expensive due to a simpler trolley design, reduced freight costs, simplified and faster installation, and less material for the bridge and runway beams
  • Most economical option for light to medium-duty cranes
  • Lower loads on the building structure or foundations due to a reduced deadweight. In many cases, it can be supported by existing roof structure without the use of additional support columns.
  • Better hook approach for both trolley travel and bridge travel
  • Easier to install, service, and maintain
  • Ideal for workshops, warehouses, material yards, and manufacturing and production facilities
  • Lighter load on runway rails or beams means less wear on the beams and end truck wheels over time
  • Great for facilities with low headroom

Double Girder EOT Cranes:-

  • VEDANT Cranes manufactures Double Girder Overhead up to 80MT.
  • Double Girder Cranes can be offered for a very large range of spans, large range of height of lift as well as a large number of speeds. They can also be provided with multiple hoisting trolleys running on the same bridge.
  • On a double girder crane, there are two girder beams that make up the bridge and they’re supported by an end truck on each side. In most instances, the trolley and hoist run on a rail installed on top of the bridge girders. With a double girder design, you gain the depth of the cross girder if the hoist is placed between or on top of the cross girders. A top running double girder bridge crane will provide the most overhead room, as well as the greatest hook height.
  • Double girder cranes are recommended for heavy-duty applications where the crane has to handle heavier capacities and longer spans. Because of this, the components of the crane system, including the hoist and trolley, are more complex in design—making double girder cranes more expensive than a single girder crane.
  • Double girder bridge cranes are ideal for lifting heavy loads and can be used in more frequent operation than a single girder crane. They can also be used both indoors and outdoors, in a bridge or gantry setup, and are frequently used in mining, iron and steel production, railyards, and shipping ports.

Advantages of a Double Girder Design

  • Greater hook height – how far above the floor the hoist will lift (typically 18-36" more than single girder)
  • No limits to maximum span or capacity
  • Ideal for production and transportation of heavy equipment
  • Ideal for frequent lifting of heavy loads
  • Added features like walkways and maintenance platforms, cabs, magnetic reels, and lights can be added and supported by a double girder design
  • Can be used in indoor and outdoor applications, including mining, iron and steel, railyards, and ports

Underslung Cranes:-

  • VEDANT Cranes manufactures Single Girder as well as Double Girder cranes in the Underslung version. Such cranes find applications where the headrooms available are limited or the process requirements cannot allow any other means of supporting the crane except from the roof.
  • Majority of Underslung Overhead cranes are in the capacity range from 250kg to 10MT. However, higher capacity Underslung Cranes can also be manufactured as per the client requirements. Hoisting can be done using standard DEMAG Electric Wire Rope hoists or through DEMAG Electric Chain Hoists.
  • Precise control of the up/down motion and/or travel motion can be achieved by fitting Variable Frequency Drives in the panels (optional).
  • Control can be either through a Pendant Push Button station or a Radio Remote Control (optional).

Goliath & Semi Goliath Cranes:-

  • The Goliath cranes that we manufacture here at Technical Cranes are all custom built in our factory and can be supplied with SWL of up to 250 Tonnes and with single or double cantilevers at each end of the crane as required.
  • We manufacture both single girder or double girder Goliath cranes as well as Semi-Goliath cranes which utilises only one side of supporting steelwork and one floor mounted rail.
  • These cranes are typically associated with outdoor applications such as assembly areas, moving equipment around a stock yard or loading and unloading directly onto trailers. However, these can be used inside where the existing structure is not adequate for additional loading of steelwork or where free standing steelwork is not possible.
  • This can make a crane a more cost effective option over an overhead gantry crane as it requires less expensive gantry steelwork. Another advantage of a these systems rather than an overhead crane is that they are often more easily dismantled to be moved and used at a different site if needed.

Light Crane Systems :-

  • A range of standard light crane system components in steel and aluminium for loads from 125kg to 2,000kg.
  • Vedant gives a practical solution for your handling needs in large facilities and the components are compact offering an efficient use of space. It is a completely modular system allowing you to create simple or complex systems.
  • Reduced headroom units are available for increased working height with a variety of suspensions and fixings making it suitable for all types of buildings and structures.
  • Vedant offers a completely modular system for single and double girder beams, with fixed and articulating bridges, providing a true lightweight crane system. For materials that are too bulky or heavy to move through a process or facility with lift trucks or fixed, floor-mounted conveyors monorails and workstation cranes move and position loads. They maximize the vertical space in a facility by transporting loads overhead.

Their travel is directed by an operator, either manually or with a wired pendant station or wireless controls. These direct their horizontal, vertical or lateral load movements.

Monorails and workstation cranes are typically used to support manufacturing activities. Monorails typically transport loads from one process to the next. Workstation cranes are usually dedicated to a specific location to support a load during a specific step.

Monorail systems and workstation cranes provide a variety of benefits:

  • Adaptable – Because they can operate on any plant floor surface, and can be modified to accommodate changing needs, they provide flexibility to an operation
  • Customizable – Can be customized with below the hook attachments, end effectors or specialized tooling to handle a diverse variety of products and loads
  • Ergonomics – By doing the heavy lifting, monorail systems and workstation cranes take strain off operators, reducing fatigue and lowering the risk of injury
  • Faster direct paths – Monorail systems and workstation cranes take product up and over obstacles, instead of navigating back and forth through aisles
  • Load control - Radio remote controls and independent traveling pushbutton pendants allow for a better view while keeping the operator away from the load and any associated danger
  • Lower maintenance costs – Incorporating the latest technologies and offered in a variety of usage and capacity ratings, monorail systems and workstation cranes require less maintenance compared to other lifting devices
  • Positioning – Highly automated systems maneuver with the precision of one thousandth of the rated speed to an exact location
  • Reduce labor expenses – A single monorail system or workstation crane cover a large work area and can replace more manual operations
  • Reduction in product damage – By allowing for smooth, direct-path transportation over obstacles—with soft start features, multiple speed options and a variety of end effectors to interface with and secure the load—products are handled gently to minimize damage
