About UsOur workshop is nestled on the outskirts of Sherburn In Elmet, a large village in North Yorkshire. It is where our in-house team design, engineer, craft and build our exhibition display cases.

Did you know that the same people who create our cases are the same ones that fit them too? They go wherever they are needed to ensure that we uphold the highest standards of quality and care, from design to after sales care.

Our in-house work is a brilliant way to keep our overheads low, keep costs down for you and share experience with one another whenever we need to. It makes us a more efficient, tight-knit team who are passionate about our collaborative efforts and stunning end results.

Who Do We Create Exhibition Display Cases For?Here at Workhaus, we often describe ourselves as a specialist museum workshop. Our expert skills come together to create leading-quality, bespoke museum exhibition display cases for clients across the UK – and the world. Although we honed our skills creating exhibition display cases, we are now also experts in technical and creative solutions for all kinds of displays. These include special, one-off projects for visitor centres, theme parks, experiential marketing campaigns, artistic fabrications for special events and more!

Why Are We Special?Firstly, we know that client trust is integral to our work. For example, we stick to agreed budgets and let clients know as soon as possible if there may be extra costs in the future. This is because we love to consistently reach the high standards our clients expect of us and we know it is this trust that secures our future work.

Our SkillsThe Workhaus team come from backgrounds in theatre and the arts. They each have a passion for creativity that influences our unique and bespoke museum exhibition display cases.

Our projects need to be visually exciting, safe, secure and durable for future audiences to enjoy. This is where our specialist mix of skills combine to create high quality fit-outs and museum exhibition display cases.

We were able to create a curved glass shooting gallery and a club badge that measures 6 metres in diameter!

The British MuseumAfghanistan: Crossroads of the Ancient World

When the National Museum of Afghanistan loaned The British Museum over 200 objects and artefacts, we were able to provide a plethora of technical and creative display solutions. We helped with everything from flooring to decoration. This special project also included desktop cases, plinths, walls and dress panels.
