SSSTS is an acronym for the site supervisor safety training scheme that is used for developing a healthy and safe working environment on the construction site. This card has a validity period of 5 years which can be renewed again. To renew this card, the delegate needs to attend the refresher SSSTS course.
- Red trainee card: the red trainee card is available for technical supervisory and management. For this card, the candidate needs to qualify for the CITB operative level test. The validity period of this CSCS card is 5 years which cannot be renewed again.
The SSSTS course is not compulsory for every person but if you want to get the red-trainee card and Gold supervisory card, this course is very preferred. These CSCS cards are required at most of the construction sites in the UK.
