About TNPSC Group Exam and the syllabus to prepare

TNPSC Exam:

TNPSC- Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is established for recruiting the candidates for the various posts in the government department of Tamil Nadu. Many candidates are writing this TNPSC Exam, so competition is heavy to get placed the desire post in the government of Tamil Nadu. List of TNPSC Exam:

• TNPSC Group 1
• TNPSC Group 2 (Interview post) and TNPSC Group 2a (Non interview post)
• TNPSC Group 3
• TNPSC Group 4

Eligibility Criteria:

Age limit: Candidate age should be from 18 yrs to 38 yrs

Education qualification: Candidate should possess 10th grade, 12th grade and Degree

Selection process:

It has three stages of selection process. They are,

• Preliminary exam
• Mains exam
• Interview process

Group1 and Group2 exam will have all these stages for recruitment, for group2a only prelims will be conducted, and for group4 only have written exam.

TNPSC Group 1 Exam:

Group 1 exam is the toughest exam, so we need to put lot of hard work and preparation to make your path success. Education qualification for this exam is any degree. Age limit is 21yrs for minimum and for maximum 30yrs for OC and 35yrs for DW, BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SC (A) and ST. Selection process is done in three successive way - Preliminary exam, Main exam and Interview or Oral test. Candidates who are all go required cut off marks from the preliminary exam will attend the main exam and candidates who are qualified in the main exam will be called for the interview. The final result list will be prepared on basis of the candidates who qualified in the main exam and the interview processes. Preliminary exam is conducted for 300 marks. Main exam is a written exam and it has three papers carries 300marks each. Interview is for 120 marks. Time will be for 3 hrs.
