B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE) is an autonomous engineering college in Basavangudi, Bangalore, India. MSCE today offers 13 Undergraduate & 16 Postgraduate courses both in conventional and emerging areas. 14 of its Departments are recognized as Research Centers offering PhD/M.Sc (Engineering by Research) degrees in Science, Engineering and Management. The College has been effectively practicing outcome based education. The College has one of the largest student populations amongst engineering colleges in Karnataka. Currently about 5000 students are pursuing their higher studies in BMSCE. More than 350 research scholars are pursuing their PhD Degree in BMSCE Research Centres. History

BMSCE was founded in 1946 by B. M. Sreenivasaiah with 3 undergraduate courses (Mechanical, Civil & Electrical), claiming to be "the first private sector initiative in engineering education in India". Sreenivasaiah was followed by his son B. S. Narayan.

BMSCE was ranked 69 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) engineering ranking in 2019 and 40 by Outlook India's "India's Top 150 Engineering Colleges In 2019 ".It was ranked sixth among private engineering colleges by India Today in 2019.
