The processing of wood used far less energy than most other building materials. Wood products lower carbon footprint. In construction of buildings, it is considered that wood has more than 10 times the insulating capability of steel or aluminium and is five times more effective as an insulator than concrete. Houses made from trees are sustainable, renewable and environmentally friendly. If you want the warmth (or coolness) to remain in your home, and you want to spend less money on heating (or cooling), wood is a tremendous alternative to brick, concrete or stone.

People prefer their construction to be quick and that’s exactly what Woodbarn can offer as its USP. Woodbarn can construct a 100m² wooden house, on site within 7 days. Imagine popping to Coorg for a two week vacation, returning home to discover a new building has sprung up in your neighbour’s garden. I told you wood was impressive!

When compared with conventional material like brick, stone or concrete, wood constructions certainly do save time, and which in return saves labour, water usage and tug of hassel with the regular labour. Wood is applicable in extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain and snow cladded conditions like in Aulli where Woodbarn has done a project called ski resort, where eco-friendly construction can continue without any problem.
