Tenerife is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Europe, and it has many attractions; however, one thing it is known for above all others is the wonderful beaches. Once you've settled in from your Tenerife transfers from the airport to your accommodation, keep the following beaches in mind to visit during your time here.

Bollullo

Bollullo is one of the most beautiful beaches of all. Located in the north of the island, one of the best ways to reach it is to travel to Puerto de la Cruz and then walk the rest of the way. Alternatively, you can drive here along a small road, but that can prove to be challenging! Once you arrive, you will find yourself on a beautiful black sand beach complete with a small bar. The waves are quite big here, meaning it is particularly popular with surfers.

La Tejita

Another excellent beach to visit after you have arrived on the Tenerife transfers is La Tejita. This is a great option if you want to get away from the hordes of tourists. It is located in the south of the island, and you will find lots of space to enjoy to yourself. Big and open - it is over a mile long and 300 metres wide - you won't have difficulty finding a place to sit down and relax! There are also plenty of parking spaces available.

Los Gavitos

Los Gavitos beach is located in Santa Cruz, and should be visited as soon as possible after you've arrived on the Tenerife transfers! The beach is situated in a tiny cove that also boasts gorgeous natural black sand. There are plenty of water sports to try out, and you certainly will not have to fight for space. You will also find a number of little cafés serving food and drink.

Las Teresitas

Las Teresitas is not a natural beach, but it is still attractive and the backdrop of the mountains makes it particularly beautiful. It is located about a 10-minute drive from Santa Cruz, but you can also take a bus. As well as enjoying the beach itself, you will also find a number of kiosks serving snacks and drinks, as well as a few good fish restaurants.

La Arena

This black sand beach tends to be quite crowded but is well worth a visit. It has a European Blue Flag and there are many facilities, which include a good restaurant as well as shops and bars nearby. It is located on the west coast of the island and there are some good walks nearby along the beautiful coastline.

Relax on the Beach

This delightful island is an excellent destination for a holiday, so if you are looking for somewhere to lie on the beach all day and soak up the sun, you could not ask for a better place. Keep these beaches in mind and make sure you visit a few of them before your return Tenerife transfers.
