How to Successfully Implement Microsoft SharePoint?

SharePoint is a web-based platform embedded with MS Office. Launched in 2001. There are some terms that need to be discussed before going deep into its implementation.
1. DMS- Document management system.
2. DSS- Document storage system.
3. CMS- Content management system.
4. ECM- Enterprise content management.
1. DMS- A document management system (DMS) is a system used to receive, track, manage and store documents and reduce paper. Most are capable of keeping a record of the various versions created and modified by different users (history tracking).In the case of the management of digital documents, such systems are based on computer programs. The term has some overlap with the concepts of content management systems.
2. DSS- It is often viewed as a component of enterprise content management systems and related to digital asset management, document imagining, workflow systems and records management systems.
3. CMS- It is a software application that can be used to manage the creation and modification of digital content. CMSs are typically used for enterprise content management (ECM) and web content management (WCM). ECM typically supports multiple users in a collaborative environment by integrating document management, digital asset management, and record retention. Alternatively, WCM is the collaborative authoring for websites and may include text and embed graphics, photos, video, audio, maps and program code that display content and interact with the user.ECM typically includes a WCM function.
4. ECM- It extends the concept of content management by adding a timeline for each content item and possibly enforcing processes for the creation, approval, and distribution of them. Systems that implement ECM generally provide a secure repository for managed items, be they analog or digital, which indexes them. They also include one or more methods for importing content to bring new items under management and several presentation methods to make items available for use.
The new version of sub technology has been evolved from MICROSOFT where its online service is referred to as OFFICE 365 subscription service. But there are certain limitations and complexity if used earlier version 2016.

There Are Some Tips to get the most out of your SharePoint:-- Upload files to your SharePoint document library, so you can access them from anywhere.
- Open a document in a document library.
- Work with others on the same document, at the same time.
- Share documents.
- Share sites.
- Create a team site.
- Add a list or library to your team site.
- Keep previous versions of a document while you make changes to it.
- Search for something.
- Share information with your entire organization
