Business analysts are always important when it comes to run a project and make it successful. Today they are the backbone of any project who can give it a new direction. In other words, you can say that nothing is complete without a Business Analyst.

To become a successful professional most analysts are taking up the BA certification course which is based on Business Analysis. With this course, many analysts are in demand and their market value is increasing daily.

But we often hear myths about them which are not good and it becomes too difficult for us. It has become our mindset and we stop relying on them. If this thing continues we cannot choose the best analyst and it can create trouble for us.

So it is high time for us to avoid these myths and choose a valuable person to make successful projects. These are some myths about the business analysts that we should avoid.

  • They are only for Information technology- This is the first myth that everyone thinks before hiring a business analyst that they are only for information technology. It is not necessary most of the analysts work on human core projects and other marketing projects. This myth is dangerous that’s why other field personnel cannot hire a proper analyst.
  • They focus on needs and demands- The business analysts indeed have to meet the demands of a project but they do not fully focus on it. They get into the depth of the project by identifying the bad effects of them. The identification is done smoothly so that the project can be successfully completed.
  • They cannot handle risks- Few people think that business analysts cannot handle risks as they know nothing about it. They are the best risk handlers who will analyze it and know how it can impact the business. The analysts who are PMP Course certified they can handle risks much better than a normal analyst.
  • MBA holders- One of the common myths which everyone has before hiring a business analyst is that they have to MBA. It is nothing but the worst myth as there is nothing in writing that they have to do MBA. There are many persons who do not have any experience of an analyst and have succeeded in the given project. The best thing someone can have is the BA Certification but it is not necessary to have an MBA degree.
  • Only for Project Management- Though business analysts are meant for project management only but they do not stick to that line. They opt for many other fields so that they can get proper experience from them. It is nothing but a baseless myth as they have got more successful results in other fields. If you think that you can hire them for policy-making decisions hire the right person without any hesitation.
  • Analysts are not required before the commencement of any project- Last but not least, everyone thinks that they do not require an analyst before the project starts. It is most important to consult them before you commence any project as they will give a fine idea about it. After starting the project if you consult them then your success results will decrease.

So do not go through these myths as you will never be able to choose the best business analyst. Have your mindset and choose the right person for your project.
