1. Establish an Organization

First

of all, you need to register for a sole propriety or partnership firm

as per the prescribed procedure with a relevant business name &

logo.

2. Bank account

You will need to apply for a current bank account which is authorized to deal with foreign exchange.

3. Obtain PAN

This is a compulsory document which any importer or exporter needs.

4. Register for IEC ( Import Export Code)

As per foreign trade policy, it is compulsory to obtain 10 digit IE code for export/import in India. Application for the same needs to be done to that of the Regional DGFT authority in form ANF 2A

5. Registration Membership Certificate

To avail benefit and concession under FTP 2015-20, this certificate is needed by an exporter/importer.

6. Selection of product

One

needs to be careful while a selection of product to export. An exporter should analyse trends in export business keeping in mind the demand for the product in the international market. Also, the product selected for export must bring a fair profit.

7. Searching Buyers
