India Gate:

This popular attraction of Delhi was built to give ode to the Indian soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War. This memorial was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and is about 138 feet in height. Surrounded by lush green gardens, the India gate is also a famous picnic spot with many options for street food. In the evening, this memorial is lit up with different colored spotlights making it look even more magnificent. Red Fort:

Humayun’s Tomb:

This tomb is also one listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and reflects the Mughal and Persian culture through its architecture. This tomb was the last refuge of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and is a luxurious palace rather than just being a tomb. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden and is the first tomb to have a garden in the Indian sub-continent. Built by the last widow of Humayun, there are many graves of other Mughal rulers here. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib:

Located in Connaught place in Delhi, the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is a magnificent white marble Sikh temple. Qutub Minar:

Qutub Minar, also listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Site is the tallest individual tower in the world. Akshardham Temple Delhi:

This famous Hindu temple has its name in the Guinness Book of World Records as the World's Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple. It reflects the Indian culture and spirituality and the architecture itself complements the Hindu culture. This temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan is also known as Swaminarayan Akshardham.

The temple walls display eternal Hindu teachings and devotional traditions with eight flamboyantly carved Mandapams. Lord Swaminarayan's statue is the centerpiece and is surrounded by 20,000 deities which are important personalities in the Indian history, all of which showcase the traditions, architecture and timeless spirituality of the Indian culture. It also has an open garden and the Akshardham complex has India’s largest stepwell.
