It definitely took a little while for Kostic to get going, but when he did, people knew about it. A lot of professional analysts put him as being solely responsible for the incredible season his club managed to achieve this year. He definitely stepped up to the play in a big way, and is the number three slot in terms of the amount of goals he has been able to score.

It has definitely been very thrilling to see him perform as well as he has, simply because it was the topic of debate for a long time as to whether he actually could step up and perform. As a man approaching the later stages of his career, it really was make or break time. Thankfully, he definitely did step up.

And now we reach the only serious contender for Robert. This is a player who has consistently proven that they have what it takes to be the best of the best. It’s definitely not easy to try and see how they are handling everything, but this is a definite pro.

Not only is this one the top scorers in the season, but this man is also the direct challenge to Robert, nearly beating out his average and stealing his place as the top scorer of the season. It would definitely be interesting to see if anybody could take the title, because that would mean that fresh talent is starting to creep up.

Alphonso Davies

The final name on the list is also one of the youngest. This player made a name for himself at just 19, signing onto Bayern Munich during the 2019 transfer window, and has proven himself to be an incredible force.

There is definitely a lot of raw skill here, combined with some technical talent that makes Alphonso Davies a very capable player on the pitch. It was no mean feat to make it to Bayern at just 19, and he has definitely found himself as one of the dominant names. Whether he can continue to ride out his hot streak is a different question, however.
