Till today, email marketing is considered the most cost-effective to generate the highest ROI for a business. It is one of the oldest forms of marketing. Undoubtedly, there exists a number of other strategies as well. But still, a number of businesses believe it to be the top marketing strategy that brings them the desired results.

Though email marketing is a cost-effective method to connect with your customers. Here, are some of the blunders you shouldn't make when it comes to email marketing:

NOT SHOWING YOU ARE HAPPY TO HAVE THEM

A visitor lands on your website, they visited for landing page as well. And they filled the form. So, you got a new email and clearly the person is whole-heartedly interested in what you provide. That's great!

So, now you are waiting for days and days to send them your blog post, newsletter so something related to your profession. Well, that's bad, you shouldn't do this to your new subscriber.

Why don't you send them a welcome mail and tell them you are grateful to have them. Send them a welcome mail as soon as possible with you. And they are more likely to stick by your side.

NOT USING A RELEVANT CTA (CALL-TO-ACTION)

I have seen two types of mistakes people make. Either they don't use CTA in their emails or they use 3-5 CTA in an email altogether. That's not how you do it!

Using a relevant CTA within your email is very necessary. Otherwise, how your audience will know what they are supposed to do after reading your email? No matter what kind of email you are sending to your audiences. There should be an associated CTA with the email. It's very necessary.

Having a CTA in your email is very necessary. So, if you haven't used it is the right time to get started with it now!

SENDING TOO MANY EMAILS AT ONCE

Now, this actually looks and feels annoying. If you send too many emails to your audiences then there are high chances that your audiences will unsubscribe to your mailing list soon.

Make it a practice and don't annoy your customers by sending too many emails or sending inappropriate emails.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BEHAVE A CERTAIN WAY

As a business, it is very important that you meet the expectations of your customers. Otherwise, they will start ignoring your emails. Your perfect emails will of no use if you annoy your customers.

Expectations come in two ways. First, you need to provide your customers with the content they wish to see. Secondly, if you promised that they will receive emails twice a week. Make sure that you stick to it otherwise it will create a bad impression of your business.

YOUR EMAILS DOES NOT LOOKS PROFESSIONAL

In email marketing, this is actually a blunder. If you don't want your emails to get ignored you must take care of this every time. If your email has too much content, it has a bad background, everything does not stick together.

If the presentation of your email is bad then your email is bound to get ignored and your audiences will start unsubscribing you. And you should never do this. Join the best digital marketing course in Delhi and learn more about email marketing to boost your business sales with emails.
