#IAMGREENARMY - A Movement For A Sustainable Future

The pressing priority today for everyone has to be climate change and building a sustainable future. Today, many real estate developers aim to gain the status of being green builders. It was a movement launched back in 2014 to educate people and communities, including young children, on sustainable living habits and choices. Till today, the Green Army has reached over 250 schools, 50,000 students, and 200,000 citizens across India. In fact, this year it has managed to educate and create awareness on sustainable living among 20,000 students in over 100 schools and 80,000 citizens across the cities of Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Gurugram.

The movement for a sustainable future by Mahindra Lifespaces includes increasing urban biodiversity and helping all the communities adapt to the effects of climate change. Those associated with the Green Army are said to play a major role in the mitigation of climate change, improving the air quality, and also help with better soil water retention. Progressing with this aim in mind, Mahindra Lifespaces has come with their sustainability policy which includes the following four pillars:

These practices have helped them achieve up to 25% savings on electricity and up to 30% savings on water.
