In Singapore, the government is very strict when it comes to local companies planning to employ foreign nationals. For any foreign nationals who plans to conduct business or working in Singapore, they are made compulsory to apply for an Employment Pass (EP) issued by the Controller of Immigration. The biggest advantage for the holder of Employment Pass is that they can consider applying for Dependent Passes (DP) for his or her children below 21 years of age and their spouse. Meanwhile, the holder of Dependent Pass must apply for an Employment Pass if he or she is interested to work in Singapore. For studies, he or she need to apply for Study Pass if he/she is keen on studying in Singapore. In view of the different passes available in Singapore, Ren Ai Group have created a new service which caters for the application of various passes for foreign nationals, mainly for both working adults and students. In this article, we shall focus on Employment Passes in general, the various types of Employment Passes and Dependent Pass.

The applicant must produce certified copies of academic, professional qualifications and working testimonials from previous employers as supporting document for the application of EP.
