Islam is a complete religion. This is the code of life for human beings. While Islam has guided man in other matters, Islam has also provided complete guidance to a man in matters of halal and haraam. Allah created man in this world to be tested. Allah said:????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? He (Allah) Who guides life and death, that He may try you which of you is best in conduct. (Surat al-Mulk, Ayat No. 02)

So Allah has forbidden many things to a man in order to test him. In fact, it is in man's best interest to stop them. The subject of halal and haraam is very important in Islam. The significance of this is evident from the fact that Allah has first invited all people, then Muslims, and then the Messengers to eat halal and pure food.

Allah said:???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? O people! Eat only lawful and pure things from the earth. Do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Because Satan is your clear enemy. (Surat al-Baqarah: 168)

This speech was addressed to ordinary people. Muslims and non-Muslims all come to this speech. But in this blessed verse, Allah has specifically addressed the Muslims and encouraged them to eat halal food.

Allah said:?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? O you who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you. And give thanks to Allah. (Surat al-Baqara, 172)

This address was to all Muslims. In this blessed verse, Allah has addressed all the Messengers and made clear the importance of the matter of halal and haraam.

Allah said:??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? O Messenger! Eat of the good things and do good. (Surat al-Muminun, 51)

There are three groups of human beings, one is the prophets, the other is the Muslim, and the third is the non-Muslim. Addressing these three groups, Allah has instructed them to avoid haraam and adopt halal.

This shows the importance of the subject of halaland haraam in Islam. Moreover, a person who does not consider halal and haraam, Allah does not accept any worship of such a person nor does He accept any worship of such a person.

I have briefly mentioned the issue of halal and haraam here. May Allah grant us the ability to act. Amen!
