Dogs are one curious, little energy cells that are hard to contain, which gets tough as it is even harder to keep an eye on them all the time. Dogs are animals that need a lot of attention or they tend to go mischievous and sneaky.

Bigger dogs often like to explore their wild side and go rogue. There are various reasons as to why dogs need a good, tall, and strong fence to contain them. And also on the plus side, they can contain their energy in running all around the fenced lawn.

The type of fence that can keep a certain breed of dog can only be decided as per the need accordingly. Some of which are:-

  1. Bigger dogs need tall fences as the can jump!- A four-foot-tall fence can hardly contain a husky or a labrador so it’s better to make a fence that is six-foot-tall. A six feet tall fence is sufficient to keep most of the dogs inside. In many cases, dog owners start adding little extensions to the fences, which might not help as the dog will learn to jump a little higher each time. Our advice is to tear down the old fence and get a new one fixed that is almost six feet higher or more. Stronger dogs are also capable of chewing the fences, so do not simply focus on the height and ignore other factors, but instead do consider using stronger wood, vinyl, or suitable components so that they don’t easily cut the fence and run their way out.
  2. Think twice before buying an invisible fence.- People often think of the invisible and electric fences as the ultimate option. But actually it is not, local dogs might prevent you from fixating taller fences but think about the registered cases of acceleration in the aggressiveness of dogs because of it. And ultimately, might trigger behavioral changes and think of the worst, your dog might even try to hurt you! Just imagine yourself getting a shock every time you try to touch something.
  3. Your dog might actually climb his way out it if not able to jump.- Dogs are said to be very intelligent animals. Some of the dogs if not able to jump, might be able to climb their way out of it as they might get a better foothold on the fences. To be honest, chain-linked fences can not be considered even as an option for the climbers as they can easily make (climb) their way out of it. In such cases, one should actually Opt for the vinyl-based fences so they are not able climb, or, fences with smaller pores so that they are not able to make a grip on the fence in order to climb.

Critter Fence is an ultimate option for all the above-mentioned issues, and not only big dogs, but for dogs of almost every breed. Critter fence helps you solve your every issue related to the safety concerns for your dog and also gives you numerous options that are of the best quality and you can decide on almost what to get installed for your dogs.
