The start of your journey

Your DGCA CPL flight course will begin by progressing through the RPL (Recreational Pilot Licence) and then PPL (Private Pilot Licence) syllabus. After successfully completing and obtaining your RPL and PPL, you will then move on to the CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence) syllabus.

Learn To Fly’s DGCA CPL course is taught according to the CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) standards, with extended training to meet the further requirements set by the Indian DGCA

The flight course syllabus

The RPL syllabus starts with students learning and practising the basics of flying. You will learn all required theory and practical skills such as how to efficiently take off, climbing and descending, turning, recognising the symptoms of a stall, flying solo, safely landing and more.

The standard CPL syllabus focuses on teaching students more advanced flight procedures and techniques. You will conduct flight training exercises such as embarking on a cross-country navigation flight covering at least 540km and accumulating a total of 150 required flight time hours.
