The Lacrosse is a field sport consists of two teams of 10 players or 12 players depending on whether male or female, respectively Maverik Lacrosse. Make the team that scores more goals in a game. Players use sticks with a network to carry, throw or hit the ball in the field. It is a sport little known in Spain, and easy to learn, making it an interesting place to implement in schools sport. So in short, Lacrosse is a sport where 2 teams comprised of ten players each using a stick with a net on the top to go and grab a rubber ball with the aim of hitting the ball to score goals in network contrary. Both men and women play this sport.

It is allowed to run with the ball in the post. Unlike the Maverik Lacrosse, players can kick the ball and can also cover it with their sticks, provided they do not retain too much of the game. The games are fast, resembling a combination of soccer, basketball and ice hockey. Violence is permitted with the body and with the stick, even if the regulation establishes certain ways to violently confront the opponent. The International Association of University Athletes has established that the parties must have duration of four times 15 minutes each. Instead, school-level, clashes have a shorter duration.

Lacrosse stick

The lacrosse stick has an attached head with a mesh that allows users to capture and throw the ball. Most players customize their heads to reflect the position in which they play. Hard mesh is better for players who have to get rid of the ball quickly and throw accurately over long distances. Add a hard mesh lacrosse stick if you play on the defensive end and if you want your pocket to last long.

Forwards and midfielders use a stick measuring between 40 inches and 42 inches (1.07 m) (1 meter) while defenders and, under certain conditions, midfielders, use a stick that can measure up to 72 inches (1.8 m) long. The post of goalkeeper varies throughout but generally is between 50 inches (1.27 m) and 60 inches (1.52 m) and is wider than the other players stick.

Game Modes in lacrosse

Lacrosse on grass: The grass lacrosse includes two teams of ten players each. The competition is to design a small rubber ball in the arch of the opposing team.

Lacrosse Case: It is played indoors in tennis ice hockey where the ice is removed, between two teams of six players each.

Selection of Lacrosse Gloves

Just like the lacrosse stick, lacrosse gloves are equally important for the players. There are various brands available when you rush to buy gloves such as brine, warrior, maverick, gait, DeBeers, cascade, harrow and cranberry. Before you make any purchase first you need to decide whether to but gloves for snowy weather or normal weather. If your lacrosse jacket is tight on the wrist, the most suitable are gloves with large cuffs that you can crank up the sleeve. If the jacket does not have tight wrists, then buy gloves that can slide under the sleeves. Choose gloves features that are convenient for you. Some have clips that secure the jacket if you tend to lose things. Gloves are also equipped to clean your glasses. Preferably buy the gloves with inner liner that will make your hands warm in extreme weather conditions.
