The Ram Mandir - A Religious temple in Ayodhya Will Always Remain A Crime Scene

After centuries later, the Ramayana story again came into the light because the religious place issue of Ayodhya seems to be over now. Leaving all this aside, the Hindus should look inward and wonder what this temple does really mean to them. Would that be a matter of Ram Mandir or of "Ram Lalla's" Abhibhavak? From when did Ram become so powerless and helpless that "abhibhavak" is required to care for him? A young friend of mine had a question; Does Dashrath and his daughters, Kaushalyya, Kaikeyi and Sumitra willingly give their first son to such abhibhavaks?

You have to ask also if the figure of 'Ram Lalla' – the child Ram – has ever been held as one of the deities to which you pray in the little temples which the faithful Hindus have in their houses? Because this temple is situated at the birthplace of Ram, the image of him as a child is obviously called upon.

Since it concerns the birth of the Lord, how do mothers not find a spot in the Garbha-griha (sanctum sanctorum) among the deities, Satyam asks. Wasn't all the fight to protect the "very spot" where Ram was born?

Many of these things are expected to make the devotees impatiently. "You know something about this," one would say. Then let's ignore them and talk about Ram 's true devotees. When they come into this temple, what would they remember? Will it be maryada, mangal and sumati, values identified with the Ram figure by folk wisdom or would it be bal, dambha and aneeti?

In the common imagination, Ram was characterized by the ideals of property and justice. Are these ideals fundamentally rooted in this temple 's imagination or are fleeting superiority and triumph the cornerstone of this new sanctuary?

It should be a shame that pious Hindus used in the name of a divine figure lies, conceit, disappointment, cowardice, and violence. Even the Supreme Court's convoluted decision to give the Vishwa Hindu Parishad the title of Babri Masjid 's site lists all of these. This recognizes that the smuggling of the Hindu idols to Babri Masjid 's premises in 1949 was an unlawful act and it agrees that the demolition of the Babri Masjid was a breach of law in 1992.

Another drama is coming to an end with the plans for the temple underway. The main players in the 'criminal act' reject the 'brave' feat that the Babri Masjid was demolished. The courts accept that the court could not have gathered the confidence to issue the decision it issued last year without this demolition.

The leaders of the drive to bring down the Babri Masjid, again misleadingly known as 'Ram Janmabhumi Abhiyan.' A member of the Shiv Sena, the Bhartiya Janta party 's previous ally, puts a simple question "Why can the BJP and its top leaders not blame the mob of kar sevaks on the bravery and conviction of demolition? It was certainly not the crowd who pulled it down, in the spur of time, furious with the sight of the Babri Masjid. Now the leaders who cheered for the destruction say they had nothing to do with it.

The person who made the oath to protect the Masjid publicly says that he is proud of the destruction, but that he is obligated to protect it. Then he was the state 's head. The same man, however, denies his involvement when challenged by the courts. The feverish leaders whose taped speeches in Patna in the late 1980s and early 1990s spat on Muslims now say they are wrongly involved here.

So, who mobilized the mob and who broke the oath? The question is. You can notice disappointment in the speech he gave before the Kar Sevaks, by the 'liberal communal' Atal Bihari. He cleverly told them, although the next day the Supreme Court wouldn't be with them, that they had allowed them to conduct kar seva and how they could do so with bare hands because they had to straighten out the rough lands! His audience decodes the voice, which is a call to do the plan and not to take the oath into consideration.

These questions have no escape. The Babri Masjid will still be remembered by the mosque in Ayodhya. Therefore, it is a question of how to reconcile them with this mistrust and lying before the followers of those who don't want the demolition of the masjid.

Is it not their leaders' lack of bravery or just cowardice? Instead, they would say we knew it was "a neeti" all the time, a fake, a lie, but we don't mind it because we love them and they are liars.
