Ladies spend quite some time drawing on their brows every day. Microblading is a fairly well-known semi-permanent answer for sparse brows and generates the impression of hairs on the skin. There is another technique referred to as powder brows. It is a somewhat more recent semi-permanent brow practice that generates a soft, powdered appearance that delicately fills in the brow. This technique suits individuals endowed with full brows wishing some extra definition for relief from the daily drawing of the brows. The technique is also right for individuals who have oily skin since it is normally more lasting than microblading.

How Is Microblading And Powder Brows Different?

In Microblading, a handheld tool is used to produce natural hair strokes all over the brows for filling in any possible gaps. Experts say that this generates a ‘fluffy’ brow appearance. On the other hand, in Powder brows, a digital machine, is used to layer pixels of color against the brows. The result is the flawless shape and thus a velvety eyebrow powder appearance.

For What Time Do Powder Brows Stay?

Experts say that powder or Ombré brows usually stay between 12 and 18 months. They add that this procedure suits individuals with oily skin as the pigment is long-lasting. The microblading technique tends to fade sooner. They add that this procedure suits mature clients and individuals who indulge in sports and are active.

The Process

First, a numbing cream is applied. Next, the brow artist will discuss with the clients the sort of look they desire.

Next is Brow mapping. The brows are mapped with a thread and measuring calipers to achieve the best symmetry in the brows.

Next is refining the brow. The artist works with the clients to implement any changes they desire for balancing the brows and fitting their style. Next, the artist will tweeze the brows where required for fitting the shape and trims fine hairs over and beneath the brow.

The artist then works with the clients to pick a color that complements their hair color and skin tone.

The shape being defined, the artist starts filling in the brows with the machine. The Ombré brow look is achieved by a more sparse distribution of pixels of color at the front of their brow. This process is done a few time more to build the color up. Individuals with eyebrows that have very little hair or no eyebrows. Light, blond, and light brown eyebrows. These are common in individuals who have a really light complexion and hair.

On the completion of the first session, clients could be surprised. The reason is that the brows have a denser and darker look than the eventual result. This color will fade by about 50% over the following four weeks. After three days or so the brows will begin to scab and chip. Clients should let the scabs fall naturally. Over the following two weeks, the pigment may seem very faint. In approximately four weeks, the pigment gets more visible and the brows more defined.
