Witness Bryan Cranston’s return to small screen drama years after the colossal success "Breaking Bad."

The show reveals Cranston as an anti-hero judge who is forced to choose the path of corruption in order to save his son.

In case you live in Antarctica, completely cut off from the world, and possess no knowledge of The Breaking Bad, let me give you some brief premise. Bryan Cranston’s role as Walter White in Breaking Bad earned him six Emmy Awards for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series making the series the greatest TV series to have ever premiered with an average IMDB rating of 9.5. It entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2014 as the highest-rated show ever.

Now, you can get some idea why the anticipation for "Your Honor" has skyrocketed. The 10- part Showtime series "Your Honor" stars Cranston as a lead actor in a major drama series since the time of his apogee Breaking Bad. Cranston will play the role of charming Michael Desiato, a well-respected judge in the city of New Orleans whose son Adam (played by Hunter Doohan) gets involved in a hit and run case. Crippled by family love, Desiato chooses to leave the path of morality and cover up his son’s crimes. Things get worse for the judge when the victim’s name is finally revealed, and it is found to be the child of Jimmy Baxtor (played by Michael Stuhlbarg), head of the much-feared mafia. Now, Desiato has an impossible task of ensuring the survival of his son that goes through layers of lies, deceit, wits and painful choices.

The ensemble supporting cast includes True Detective star Carmen Ejogo, Da 5 Bloods actor Isiah Whitlock Jr., Sofia Black-D’ Elia, Power Project actress Amy Landecker, Margo Martindale, Lorraine Toussaint, Chet Hanks, Lamar Johnson, and Lilli Kay.

Peter Moffat has been a significant figure behind the series; he has been credited for being the showrunner and has also penned several of the episodes. Moffat is renowned for the UK crime series "Criminal Justice" that served as the inspiration for "The Night Of" which went on to win an Emmy Award. Robert King and Michelle King (The Good Wife, and The Good Fight) are the executive producers of the show alongside Moffat. Edward Berger famed for a Bafta Award win has also been roped in as an executive producer and as a director (he has steered the wheel for the pilot as well as the succeeding two episodes).

Breaking Bad concluded in 2013, but Cranston hasn’t been sitting around, he has been doing series, plays, and films. Meanwhile, he has also received two Tony Awards in the Best Actor category in recognition for his work in plays "All the Way" and "Network." He also created an Amazon Prime’s series "Sneaky Pete" in the crime genre. "Sneaky Pete" saw him in a starring role as well as donning the director’s hat for an episode. He also had guest appearances in the series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Your Honor."

Despite all this work, "Your Honor" will be the first time Cranston will star in a drama series since the conclusion of Breaking Bad.
