What's the IIBA?

IIBA, or the International Business Analysis Institute, is a Toronto-based non-profit organisation that promotes and supports the discipline of business analysis. This institute helps business analysts improve their expertise and advance their careers by providing them with access to quality business analysis-related content.

This organisation was established in 2003 and the BABOK guide was first published in 2005. The first credential to be introduced was CBAP, and after that, a lot of certifications were introduced. Three kinds of membership schemes are provided by IIBA, namely individual membership, organisational membership, and academic membership.

Certifications from IIBA

To help professionals excel in the field of business analysis, each IIBA Certification is customised. Entry Certificates in Business Analysis (ECBA), Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA Certification), Accredited Business Analysis Specialist (CBAP), Certification in Business Data Analytics (CBDA) and Agile Analysis Certification (AAC) are among the numerous certifications offered by the Institute.

Each of these certifications has distinct levels of difficulty, and before attempting the examinations for the same, you should consider your level of experience. You are encouraged to enroll in a former training programme to crack these tests. The study materials and mock tests for the IIBA Certification exam can be given to you.

What's PMP?

The Project Management Technical credential is provided by a multinational non-profit agency, the Project Management Institute. In manufacturing, IT, healthcare, finance, and other sectors, being PMP accredited will help you land lucrative jobs.

It is shown that companies with PMP-certified professionals who lead them make higher profits than their rivals. Certification of PMP requires a great deal of dedication and hard work, and in the first attempt, one should look to clear the exam.

Eligibility

The prerequisites for the PMP exam depend on the type of degree the individual holds. A minimum of 7500 hours of expertise in leading projects is required for those with a secondary degree. Those with a 4-year Bachelor's degree requires 4500 hours of leadership project experience. 35 hours of formal project management preparation is compulsory for all applicants.

How to Get the Exam Prepared

The PMP Certification test calls for familiarity with the language of project management. Before attempting this test, the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guide should be extensively reviewed in the PMP prep. The duration of the exam is 4 hours. It consists of 200 questions with multiple choices. The questions not only test your comprehension but also your problem-solving capacity in real life. As part of our PMP Training programme, we provide advanced mock tests and quality research materials that will help you prepare for this exam.

It is calculated that the pass rate for this exam is 50-60 percent at the first attempt. The exam consists of five domains: project initiation, preparation, tracking, implementation, and termination. The most weighted domain is the Executing domain (31%), followed by Tracking and Managing (25%), Preparing (24%), Initiating (13%), and Closing (7%). There are 175 questions that are graded and 25 that are unscored.

For your PMP Certification exam training, you must shape a study plan. Split the syllabus into tiny blocks and target specific enhancement areas. Before appearing for the test, it is also recommended to review the PMBoK guide thoroughly.

By resenting real-life situations in the examination questions, the PMP exam tests your practical knowledge. Via our classroom training and mock exams, we at Education Edge will help you get ready for the exam.
