Winter is around the corner, and the public is busy buying woollen clothes to protect themselves from the biting cold. Many diseases can spread during this season if people do not take good care of themselves, such as cold, cough, fever, swollen muscles, cracking of bones, etc. It is essential to choose the right clothing according to the season and ensure it is comfortable to wear. If people are comfortable, they are mentally satisfied and can concentrate on their work.

There are many sweaters for men available in stores in different materials, designs, and colours. They can choose the desired pattern according to their preference and wear it during winters. They can find chunky shawls to neck cardigans and many other loose-fitting patterns. People can wear them as an outer or middle layer in both casual and formal situations. Some cardigans are great for lazy Sundays, while others work perfectly in business-casual offices.

Regardless of the type of cardigan, the weight and thickness of the material are all that matters. There are two main categories of sweaters, namely lightweight and chunky. Lightweight ones can be dressed up and even worn with a suit and tie, while the chunky ones offer a more casual look. The following are the methods to wear these sweaters:

1. LIGHTWEIGHT: It is a product made from extra-fine Merino wool or Supima cotton. Its weight and structure make it more elegant and dressier than chunky shawl neck cardigans. Also, they are the best option for smart casual and business casual outfits. People can wear it over a T-Shirt for warmth and can button it up or leave it open for a laid-back and relaxed look. They can swap the t-shirt for a long sleeve Henley for a casual and timeless look, with a bit more character and visual interest.

They can also wear it over an Oxford shirt with jeans since it has a V-neck to add style to their appearance. A casual jacket is also a preferable option for these sweaters as they are thin and provide extra protection. Wear them under a blazer as well with neutral colours such as navy blue, brown, white, or black. Team it with a tie and get ready to attend an office meeting.

2. CHUNKY: These are much heavier, thicker, and more textured than lightweight cardigans. The extra heft plus shawl neck design produces a more rugged and casual appearance, perfect for parties and entertainment shows. These look great over V-neck T-Shirts as well as crew neck ones. When in doubt, ensure the cardigan is darker than the T-Shirt.

For example, a light grey T-Shirt with a dark grey cardigan will look good on anyone. Men can also try wearing it on a Henley T-Shirt with the same colour combination. Wearing these sweaters over shirts is also another style that is trending these days. People can also opt for these instead of suit jackets over a waistcoat.

Many companies also produce sweaters for women which they can wear over skirts, denim pants, coats, jackets, or even with a scarf to protect themselves from the climate. A hoodie is also one of the most attractive options for them while they go out in a pair of leggings and a striped knit top.
