Wedding day is the most important day of the couple. Every couple wants their wedding photography to be perfect so that every time they look at their photo album, the memories come back to life. To make this day special for the couple who have hired you for their wedding photography, prove to them how professional you are by taking photographs along with the fireworks as well. While many photographers do not take the risk to capture the couples enjoying the fireworks, here are some of the easiest tips that can help you take the best shots even in the night. So, next time, when your client is asking you to arrange fountain fireworks for sale because they need some sparkly shots, follow these tips:

Get All The Details

The most important thing to do is to get all the information about the firework plan before finalizing the function. Ask all the questions that are in your mind for example what type of fireworks will be used in the ceremony, how long will the fireworks show take, what will be the distance between the fireworks and the couple, what is the setting of the venue, lighting, framing, and everything else. This helps you in deciding how you will be using everything to coordinate with your clients as well as your co-photographers.

Use The Right Lens And Gear

The next important thing you should do is make sure that you have access to the right type of camera lenses and other gear. Photographers that have tripods are more likely to take perfect shots of the couples during the firework shows because there is no need to jog around with the camera to capture the moment on time. A standard 24-70mm lens works fine if you know the right technique to use it. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a tripod, you can turn on the camera’s self-timer so that you don’t have to rush towards the spot and change the angle again and again.

Test Your Shots In Day Time

It is always better to test your shots before you try them at the ceremony. The venue will be set up in the morning or by noon when the bride will walk towards the aisle and the couple will take their vows. You can ask your co-photographer to capture all the event while you test the cameras for the night show. Being at the venue before the fireworks can help you take your position and set all the gears before it all starts. Take a shot or two to see if all the setting is according to your plan and the client’s requirements.

Focus, Flash, And Exposure

When you are playing with fireworks picture shots, you have options to overexpose and underexpose the fireworks so that every new picture with variety. No doubt it gets difficult to take pictures even with flash when it is dark. What you can do is set your camera’s focus to infinity so that the flash also works to perfection. Make sure you place the couple at the right distance from the fireworks and choose unique poses.
