How to get better at designing?

Designing is a learning experience which means no matter how good you get, you still need to research and get better. The world is evolving which you could see all around you.

This is to motivate you to get better and challenge you to learn new ways of doing things. But this is not the only way for you as there are many other ways you can learn from, some of which are going to be talked about here.

Look for new ideas:

People like to do things they believe are easy. If you want to learn, the best way is to challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone by teaching yourself new techniques. Do something different you won't normally do.

Use a computer with adequate processing power:

One of the most important thing when talking about a design is how might time does it take for you to work on your task. This all depends on how quickly your pc can open and run a task.

Take short breaks while working:

If you are facing problem while working or are not able to do a task it's time for you to take a break. Taking breaks is a good practice as it can help you find a better perspective of doing things. Going out if are near nature or listening to music can help you a lot.

Get away from distraction:

Distraction in any way can destroy all your effort in a split second. When you are working on something or learning you need to stay away from all distractions because if you don't then all the work you do is nothing than just a waste of time.

Work on one project at a time:

Doing more things or working on more things in a single time is the worst way to do or learn something. As it means that you are not doing your best on any of the tasks and destroying the quality of all of them.

Follow other designers:

There are millions of people all around us doing the same as you do follow them. If you follow them you can learn their way of doing things. If you want another perspective you could sign up to different platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, Dribble, and Behance.

Accept the criticism:

In this field, there surely will come a time when your design will get criticized by the client. You don't need to feel that you didn't do the best because criticism is one of the ways to learn new things. It gives you the chance to learn from your mistakes and keep in mind for the next time.
