WAYS TO SOLVE PLAY STORE DOWNLOAD PENDING ERROR

Since this problem has multiple causes, you cannot get rid of it using a master key. You have to use multiple solutions to try to solve it. If you can identify the cause, you can easily use the specific solution. But, if you have no idea that it is a confusing topic, you can apply all the methods one by one.

1. CHANGE THE INTERNET CONNECTION AND REBOOT THE DEVICE

The first solution we instinctively try to solve Android problems. However, this problem may not be solved by a simple reboot. For it to disappear, you must first change your Internet connection. If you are using mobile data, switch to a WiFi or Hotspot network and then restart your device.

I also recommend changing the app's download preferences. To do that, go to the Play Store and tap on the three horizontal bars present in the upper left corner. Next, tap on Settings, then tap on App download preference and then choose "On any network". That's it.

2. CLEAR PLAY STORE CACHE

If you have a stuck download or update pending on the Play Store, clearing the Play Store cache and data is probably the most effective solution. To do that, follow these steps:

Go to your device's Settings app.

Now find and tap on Applications.

Then tap Manage apps.

Here, search for Google Play Store and tap on it.

Next, tap on Clear data and then choose Clear cache.

Go back to the Play Store and try to download the app now.

If you can download, then great. But, if you are still stuck, go back to Settings-> Applications-> Manage Applications-> Google Play Store-> Clear Data, and then tap on Clear Data.

That's. Now open Play Store and log in with your Google account again. This will fix the problem. Remember that the exact steps may vary depending on the user interface of your phone.

3. CANCEL ANY PASTE DOWNLOAD OR UPDATE

Play Store allows you to install only one application at a time. Sometimes a download or update application can get stuck on your device and this prevents you from installing any other application. To fix this problem, open the Play Store on your device, tap the three horizontal bars, and then tap My apps and games.

Here, check if any app updates automatically and see if it is blocked. If you find such applications, touch the "cross (X)" next to them to cancel them. After doing this, see if the error is gone.

4. RELEASE STORAGE

Play Store needs a lot of free space on your device to install applications. It is recommended that you have at least 20% of the total storage on the device free for applications. Therefore, if you are low on storage space, you may experience this problem.

The simplest solution is to go to the File Manager and check how much free storage you have. If you don't have enough space, try deleting some unnecessary images, videos, or files to free up space.
