eternal youth

Contrary to the popular public opinion where it is directly related to surgery and aesthetic treatments such as anti wrinkle injections, we can understand anti-ageing as the ability of your body to slow down or stop the signs of ageing, both inside and outside.

In other words, anti-ageing consists of adopting a healthy lifestyle that leads to the delay of the lack of vitality, the appearance of wrinkles or the loss of hair.

In search of eternal youth

It is not a current fad. For centuries, different civilizations took action in search of the fountain of eternal youth.

Despite all the myths and stories that we have heard from a very young age, eternal youth is not the most desired aim in human beings.

Living forever could become not only boring, but also sad.

Instead, what most of us really seek is not to live forever, but as long as we live we want to be young. That is, physically and mentally healthy and active.

As someone once said, it's about dying young, as late as possible, and we agree.

But why do we want to look and stay young?

Very easy. If you are like most people, you would like to have enough vitality to carry out any action in your life without limitations.

What grandparents would not rather be able to play with their grandchildren in the park? Or perhaps, what person likes to look in the mirror and see their skin full of wrinkles, blemishes and fine lines?

Another important factor is that we currently live in a society where we prejudge people based on the image they convey.

Anti-ageing is born inside you

Depending on the decisions and actions we take throughout our lives, our body has one behaviour or another.

Every day we must preserve our body and health from attacks caused by harmful agents, called free radicals.

We are subjected to high daily stress that causes serious consequences for our health. And, many people turn to invasive cosmetic treatments to hide the problem, rather than fix it.

To do this, we must understand that the premature ageing of our body is born within us. The skin is a reflection of our state of health and well-being.

By identifying and treating the causes in your routine that lead to premature wear, you will enjoy a renewed lifestyle, full of energy and vitality.

What drives the anti-ageing trend

As we have seen before, there are several factors that affect how we age. But, the main factor that has made the anti-ageing industry one of the biggest current and future trends is demographics.

Almost all developed countries have an ageing population. So much so that, for example, in 2020 the average age of the European Union stands at 40.55 years.

The increase in life expectancy, the low birth rate and the improvement of living conditions of the majority of the population, make people increasingly decide to control the way they age.

Increasingly, there are people who have greater awareness and information about their health and want to avoid the symptoms related to getting older.
