1. PPC

If you are aware of your buyer personality and target audience and want faster results, there is no better way to do it than pay per click advertising. Depending on your goals, there are several ways you can post your lead ad. The most common platform for online advertising is Google AdWords. You can choose from three different options for PPC advertising:

Search network

These are the ads that appear at the top of a search results page when you Google a product. The great thing about the search network is that the intent is already there. In contrast to social media advertising, the potential head start in finding "managed WordPress hosting" is either close to buying or researching.

Show network

These are ads that are shown on various websites and that consent to Google serving them to visitors. Created using Google's automated visual ad generator, multiple ads of different sizes can be created more easily. These ads typically have a lower CPC but are lower in terms of conversions.

Retargeting

Sometimes referred to as remarketing, it is an aspect of the display network. However, these ads will not appear on the search results page, but will be served to the audiences who have already visited your website.

The advantage of retargeting ads lies in their efficiency in giving you a better conversion rate as the potential customer who was previously on your website is more likely to buy. You can create the retarget ads through Google AdWords or use third party platforms like AdRoll or Perfect Audience. Typically wait up to 2-3 months when you first start retargeting or remarketing. This gives you plenty of time to compile a decent list of the people who have visited your website.

Precaution: Keep in mind that most of the users these days use Adblock or other programs to block ads. So there is a chance that people might not see your marketing banners or targeted / clickable ads, or it could simply be because of the GDPR laws in that place and people decided to disable your list.

2. Survey of specialists and partners

Businesses, especially small businesses, use content as their main lead generation method. And it's a proven way to generate leads because every time a blog goes on the internet, there is a chance a prospect will read it.

However, it makes a huge difference to have a fresh perspective from industry experts. Instead of bothering the audience with just one more blog, insights from C-level industry experts could help drive website traffic.

3. Videos for embedding and embedding forms in videos

YouTube is the second most popular search engine and you can use this to your advantage. Blogs and articles are good, but video has proven to be the most interesting content marketing proposition on the internet, with multiple options and strategies for generating it.

Instead of linking your entire content library, some tutorial video or info-video can be created from it to attract organic traffic. An optional lead generation form can be embedded in these videos.

For example, Zaius created some videos for its Marketing Unboxed series that have embedded a non-mandatory lead generation form that appears when the cursor is hovered over the video. Overall, this is a subtle approach to having a sales pitch and still getting some serious results.
