Review Senka Perfect Whip

Honestly, I feel really weird because I just tried the product that Senka Perfect Whip advertised for a long time. I was initially interested in trying it too because I read your comments on my morning skincare routine which encouraged me to try other facial foams. By the way, a few days after reading the comments on that post, I went to Mutiara (one of the cosmetic shops in Jogja) and saw this Senka Perfect Whip. I immediately wanted to try it, but was afraid it wouldn't fit. Lastly, try the small one (50g) first.

Senka is a Japanese skin care brand that is also a subsidiary of the Shiseido group. One of the flagship products is Senka Perfect Whip and has become the # 1 facial foam product in Japan and South Korea.

packaging

This product has 2 sizes, namely 120 grams and 50 grams, mine is 50 grams. Personally I think I prefer the 50 gram one because it can be used both at home and outside without having to travel to small spaces.

The lid is the usual packaging, which is continuously removed from the body of the package. But the size is 120 grams, the lid is a flip-up model.

If you read the ingredients list, you will see Alcohol at the beginning. Yes, this product is not alcohol free so for those of you whose skin is sensitive to alcohol, I think it's better to look for other products without alcohol;)

This product contains hydrolyzed silk which is the white essence of the cocoon. This material is said to produce a lot of foam, but the texture is smooth. In addition, there are also sodium hyaluronate, butylene glycol and glycerin which can hydrate the skin.

In particular, this product also contains comedogenic ingredients (based on Skincarisma analysis), namely Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate SE, and Lauric Acid. However, this herb also has a good function for the skin. Myristic acid can clean excess sebum and dirt on the face and can lighten lauric acid.

Smell and texture

If you look at the product description, Senka Perfect Whip has a fresh, floral fragrance. At first I was curious to know how fast it was. It turned out to smell so good, so fresh. It smells almost as good as St. Ives apricots, heaven is delicious: ')

The consistency is similar to liquid soap. Very smooth, without cream, even gel. It is white like the photo above. This product does not contain scrub at all, it is very gentle.

To wash your face with this product, just use a little bit because the foam produced is very much. But the foam is very soft, not like the foam in body wash. For a more foamy finish, you can use a foam net. But for me personally, just use my hand.

My review

After switching from Ponds to Senka, what I feel is that my skin has become softer and more supple. After washing your face, facial skin is clean without feeling torn. Even my dry skin doesn't dry out after washing my face, it's very comfortable and hydrated.

The use of this product must also be balanced with other products. As I explained in the Ingredients section, some of the ingredients in this product are comedogenic, so to avoid the effects of blackhead buildup, we have to be diligent in exfoliating too! :)
