IGNITE INDIA: TOP 10 SOCIO-ECONOMIC EDUCATIONAL MOVEMENTS FOCUSING ON INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
State level Science innovation competition for School students
"Agni’s IGNITE" an initiative by Agni’s Centre for Research and Development (Agni CRD) is a level playing field where in Tamil Nadu’s brightest young minds compete against each other and bring to the table their passion for science. Agni’s IGNITE 2014-15 Innovation Competition, is one of the biggest talent finders framed for schools to present their research and innovative talent and compete for awards in various categories. The competition unites top young scientific minds, showcasing their talents on a bigger stage, where scientists and researchers along with venture capitalists judge their work. The competition was held across schools in various districts in Tamilnadu. The government educational authorities guided & supported us by granting permission for conducting Agni’s IGNITE 2014-15 across all districts of the state. The culmination of the competition, i.e. the state level is now conducted in the form of reality shows on television.

Developed India 2020 Summit – Marking the success celebration of Agni’s IGNITE 2014-15His Excellency Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam the former President of India, gave the motivational address to the 3000 students who participated in the Conference held on 17th April 2015. In his motivational address, Dr. Kalam, hailed the Conference and called it a right step at the right time in the right direction towards realization of his vision 2020 for India.

Ezham Arivu – 1st Science Reality TV show
Ezham Arivu – is the first ever science reality show for school students that takes science to public through Television. The show is tailor made to showcase the different and diverse scientific innovations of the students and at the same time value added with the background stories and preparatory clips of students creating innovations. The show is being telecast on National Television – Doordarshan from 7.30 pm to 8.00 pm, Monday to Friday. The show is aimed at bringing out the young scientists within the school students by serving an ideal platform to exhibit their talent. The brightest 60 participants for this science reality show have been selected through a competition process of Agni’s IGNITE 2014-15 that started nine months ago in September 2014.
