Use Packing Tape to seal the openings of your toiletries
During the move, this will prevent your toiletries from breaking and leaking all over your stuff.
At least 15 days before moving, change your address.

If you do hire a moving company, check their online reviews & ratings
First, ask for referrals from friends and family members. To ensure that the moving company has handled other customers well, check their online reviews and feedback on their websites.
Some movers, for instance, can only move things in boxes, not garbage bags. This means, at a marked-up price, you can pay for basic cleaning.
Do not make boxes too heavy, but pack them properly
Even if you hire moving helpers, they aren’t superheroes. To make it more manageable to carry, place dense, heavy objects such as books in small boxes, but pack them full.
Fill empty spaces with material for packaging so that your products do not move, which can lead to breakage. To fill space without adding additional weight, you can also pack light things such as towels, pillows, and blankets
