INGREDIENTS:
- For Hot and Sweet Sauce
- Vegetable Oil, as required
- 10 gms Garlic Paste
- 10 gms Ginger Paste
- 10 gms Green Chilli Paste
- 10 gms Grated Onion
- 75 gms Kissan Sauce Maker
- Water, as required
- Black Pepper Powder, as required
- 2.5 gms Red Chilli Powder
- For Fried Vegetables
- Capsicum, finely chopped
- Cabbage, finely chopped
- Spring Onions, finely chopped
- Beans, finely chopped
- Carrots, finely chopped
- Brown & Polson Cornflour
- Maida, for coating
- Crushed Black Pepper
- Knorr Aromat Seasoning Powder
- Oil, for shallow frying
METHOD:
Hot and Sweet Sauce
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the ginger paste, garlic paste and green chilli paste. Fry them together for 1-2 minutes. Add the grated onion and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add half cup of the prepared tomato base sauce prepared with Kissan Sauce Maker. Pour in water, black pepper as required, salt as required and red chilli powder.
- Stir well and bring to boil so that it thickens. Leave to cool and use as required.
- In a bowl, mix all the vegetables, maida,
- Divide and shape the mixture into flat dumplings. Shallow fry in hot oil until crisp and golden brown.
- Heat oil in a wok. Add the prepared dumplings and the hot & sweet sauce. Gently toss and mix everything together. Add the spring onions. Serve hot, garnished with julienned onion, cabbage & carrots.
