The human resource department hires the workforce, manages them in working premises, gives promotion to them for their achievement, gives extra monetary and non-monetary rewards to retain them for a long time, and also terminate them for their misbehavior or anything. The decisions are taken by the HR department affect the other subsections of the firm like the sales department, marketing department, production department, etc. the modernized business now understood the importance of experienced and well-trained employees, and they are started using the HCM (Human Capital Management), which is the most trendy concept of managing the workforce and retain them for a more extended period of time.

Attendance Management

Attendance management means maintaining the record of the presence or absence of the employees. With the help of modernized attendance machines like a biometric punch, face recognition, selfie punch, etc., the human resource manager keeps the records of the attendance of the employee in a single integrated HR database. The AI-based attendance machines automatically capture the real-time punch-in, punch-out, early going, late coming, mispunch, etc., efficiently. The automated machines reduce the workload of the employers. It is important to maintain the data of the employee’s attendance to calculate the salary at the end of the month.

Leave Management

The basic leave management process includes keeping the records of the leaves taken by the employees in a whole month, which is used by the HR manager to calculate the salary/wages of the employees. Shift Management

If the company is running on the sift basis, i.e., day shift and night shift. The human resource manager has to maintain the timing of the shifts. They need to maintain the name of the employees, their in-time and out-time, their late coming and early going, their wages calculation sheets, and their conflicts of both shifts.

Employee Management

Management of the workforce means to maintain them from the recruitment till their exit interviews. Moreover, it includes performance management, rewards and awards management, keeping a hygienic and winsome working environment, conflict management, etc., that affects employee’s productivity and the company’s profitability.
