What is rounding down?

In rounding down decimal numbers, we neither increase the number nor decrease but we leave the number as it is "IF" the next digit is less than 5.

For example:

• The value 375.214 can be rounded down to 375.2

• The value 85.25 can be rounded down to 85.2.
