Mental health is an important aspect that none pays attention to and mental health is wrongly considered to be a myth and just a phase that will pass automatically. Millions of people are suffering from anxiety, depression, stress, and various other factors and they have no clue about how to go about with the treatment and what to do. The present generation is focusing on shedding light on the importance of mental health but the message is not making an impact on the public.

Now that mental health is slowly getting popular people are realizing the importance and the young generation is coming forward to study mental health and follow it as a profession. Courses regarding mental health and degrees are being offered in almost all top universities and tech faculty and the professors in most of these colleges are doing an excellent job in shaping the minds of the students who will in turn share the minds of the people in need of mental health care.

Mental Health jobs are becoming popular because of the increase in awareness and the effectiveness of mental health treatment. A recent study revealed that for every $1 spent scaling up treatment for depression and anxiety, the return amounts to $4 in terms of better health and ability to work.

1. Promoting multi-stakeholder collaboration to advance local, national, and global efforts in favor of good mental health

Promoting Mental health in rural areas and developing areas is a challenge because this involves collaborating with all kinds of organizations like grassroots and community organizations, civil society groups, local and national governments, international organizations, private sector companies, religious groups, and academic institutions.

With the help of these organizations, it becomes easier to send a message about the importance of mental health, and people start to understand mental health easily because the messages are coming from their local organizations.

2. Creating policies that ethically frame and guide the use of new technologies and data for early diagnosis and prevention of mental ill-health

We are living in the digital era where almost all activities can be digitally enhanced and there is an online-based solution for almost anything. We have experienced many technological advancements and these technological advancements are being but to the best use.

In today's world, we are leveraging data and technology to enable early and precision diagnostics. We have sensors and tools built-in cellphone sensors to collect information on a user’s typical behavior pattern, providing signals that help is needed before a crisis occurs. These apps can be very beneficial because they help in offering aid and stop accidents from happening.

3. Easy access to mental healthcare and development of novel drugs and therapies for the treatment of mental health conditions

A survey revealed that almost 76% and 85% of people suffering from serious mental disorders receive no treatment and more than half of them don't even have access to proper mental health care centers. But with the increase in the number of people pursuing mental health jobs affordable and quality treatment is available for many and the government is also joining hands to allow the use of prescription drugs for selected patients.

Mental health care is being added to insurance policies and experts are researching developing new treatments and methods that can help people get out of trauma and stress. It is believed that everyone faces a mental health condition at some point in their life and dealing with the issue suitably at that time can make all the difference.

5. Increase in the number of mental health specialists and trained specialists to deliver mental healthcare at the community level

There has been a steady increase in demand for mental health jobs in London and in other places as well. People are showing interest in pursuing a career in this field and are setting up their own practice. These psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and other paid mental health workers are coming forward to deliver mental healthcare in low-income countries and at a community level.
