Why can’t we all have that Friday feeling on a Sunday? Sadly, this isn’t possible for everyone but there are ways to make your Sunday feel more comfortable. People around the world use their Sunday in different ways; this may be for religious reasons, to see their family or to simply take the time to relax. With that being said, we know how hard it can be to truly relax before a new working week! Lucky for you, we have researched for you and compiled four tips to help you have a relaxing Sunday.
Be mindful

Even if you are not religious, this is still a great thing to consider as being mindful can truly help relieve stress and worry. What do you do to relieve stress at the moment? Our Sunday’s are usually filled with thinking about the issues from the previous working week – but we need to stop this!
There are many ways you can stay mindful. For your convenience, there are many apps available to download onto your mobile device that help combat stress and provide great platforms to manage your mental health. These include – and aren’t limited to – an online therapy app, mood tracker apps, and meditation apps. These are useful every day, but Sunday provides a great opportunity to be mindful of your feelings and take a step back to understand the situation.
Meet friends for brunch
Who doesn’t love a Sunday brunch? We recommend that you reserve Sunday to meet with your loved ones. Even better, you can make your Sunday plans throughout the week, so you have something to look forward to as each working day passes. There is no better way to enjoy your Sunday than to spend time with the ones we love. You can choose anything to do, from visiting your favourite restaurant, going to the cinema or having brunch. We recommend brunch because it provides a great opportunity to meet with friends or family earlier on. This way you still have the rest of your day to relax.
Pamper yourself
No matter whether you have a bath or shower, we believe that Sunday is the perfect day to completely relax by pampering yourself. There are many different articles out there that can help you create an at-home spa. You may need items like candles, facemasks, warm towels and bubble bath. Grab your favourite book or switch on Netflix for some chill time with your favourite snacks.
Get an early night
We know how hard it can be to get to sleep at a reasonable time on a Sunday night. Many of us stay awake into the early hours of Monday morning and this is doing no good for our mental health. Start your bedtime routine slightly earlier than you usually would to allow your mind to relax.
