Drip irrigation for bigger and better plants

Drip irrigation technique was invented in the early 60s in Israel. They addressed it as “underground irrigation”. The reason to develop such a technique was not commercial at all.

It was something that was free, much bigger, and was situated near a leaking tap in the backyard. Later on, the use of drip irrigation has proven to save water, energy and labour also. But the initial concept was to grow bigger and better plants.

This type of irrigation method was also known as underground irrigation and drop irrigation, and works as the name implies. Drop by drop, water is deployed to the active root zone of the plants. This technique, if handled properly, may be the most effective way of irrigation, as evaporation and runoff lessened considerably.
