High Pressure Cleaning Services
Posted: Mar 27, 2021
High pressure cleaning, also known as HPR is an effective way to clean hard floors. High pressure cleaning is essentially a method of using a combination of detergent and water under controlled high levels of pressure to remove stains, grease, dirt, and debris from various surfaces. Most often, high pressure cleaning involves cleaning and washing sidewalks, concrete walkways, and outside walls and making sure it is stain and dirt free prior to application of new tile or laminating material. However, high pressure cleaning can also be used for cleaning bathroom tiles and showers, sinks and tubs, counter tops, windows, ceilings, and even attics. Some HPR companies offer services for garages, storage sheds, boats, RV's, and private homes. It can also be used on boats, as the high pressure used in this process will usually force out the air in the cab.
The four fundamentals of high pressure cleaning include the following: cleaning and/or sterilization, mechanical action, mechanical actuation, and cleaning. To provide the above four fundamentals, a detergent product is applied at high pressure and then the detergent solution is maintained in an open container. After the cleaning solution has been thoroughly and properly maintained, the cleaning solution is again applied at the same high pressure and maintained in the same open container.
Some of the most common inorganic soils are soil acidity, clay and limestone, fine sandy soils, clay-rich soils, and dolomitic and travertine soils. In order to effectively perform high pressure cleaning on these soils, a suitable solvent must be selected. Solvents such as ethylene or chlorine are frequently used. Other solvents that are commonly used in high pressure cleaning processes include polymers and polyurethane foam. Depending on the soil type, the solvents will be chosen. A discussion below details the properties of these commonly used detergents and their effect on soil properties.
The four fundamental principles behind cleaning services detergent concepts are mechanical action, cleaning and/or sterilization, chemical action, and mechanical actuation. Each of these factors plays an important role in the effective performance of high pressure cleaning. For instance, mechanical action refers to the method used by detergents to break down the bonds between inorganic and organic molecules. Mechanical actuation refers to the action of applying the cleaning or sterilizing solutions to the surface being cleaned or sterilized.
One of the key factors that determine the efficacy of the detergent is its solvent character. Solvents vary in terms of what they do to the environment and the amount of chemicals that they contain. Therefore, selecting the right detergent and the appropriate solvent is crucial for effective high pressure cleaning services. The four most widely used solvents in detergents include chlorination, phosphates, bromine, and hydrochloric acid. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Line marking and other visual signs play a vital role in detergent performance. Some of these systems use simple bar codes that determine the specific service area. However, high-pressure cleaning involves an application of high-pressure water at very high pressure. It requires the use of special high-pressure washing lines that help identify the service area and prevent the entry of dirt and debris during the process.
There are also tools that are available in the market for the purpose of line marking. These marking systems include markers that are made of steel and plastic that are affixed to the inlet pipe of the high pressure washing lines. Other than the inlet pipe, marking systems can also be used for identification purposes on the outtake pipe and the discharge pipe. All these aspects have a bearing on proper and thorough cleaning procedures.
With the introduction of new technologies, high pressure cleaning detergents have become more efficient and less costly. High pressure washing equipment now includes automatic control systems that can perform the entire process. It is very convenient as well as cost-effective. Automatic systems include point of use machines that can apply line marking services with a single push of a button. This saves time and effort.
