Methodological fit is an attribute of high-quality research in companies and organizations which receives little attention in the management literature though it is valued implicitly. It refers to the internal consistency between the research project’s elements. They include research question, the preparatory work, research design, and theoretical contributions (Edmondson & McManus, 2007, p. 1155). There was a guide for the evaluation and methodological adaptation funding as the main criteria for the quality of the research in the particular field. The methodological adjustment was defined; thus, the internal consistency between the research project’s elements should be fully proven (Ghauri, & Gr?nhaug, 2005).

The text of the scientific work differs from any other, primarily by its logic nature. Therefore, no matter what mistakes in terms of logic the authors of dissertations make while describing the course of the study, it is always possible to prove that any error of this kind comes down ultimately to a breach of the requirements of a logical law. A significant part of scientific information is in the nature of output judgments. They are not obtained by direct perception of some fragments of reality, but derived from other judgments that seem to be drawn from their content (Edmondson, & McManus, 2007). Iference is a logical means of obtaining such knowledge. It is a mental operation by which of a number of judgments given output, otherwise judgment in some way connected with the original.

If to look into the circumstances of the appearance of the methodological approach and the idea of the methodology, it becomes evident that these ideas arise in a situation when the validity or effectiveness of any scientific information or method are put into question. In most cases, the methodology meant a transition from the evidence of truth in ways adopted in some scientific school to other schools. Moreover, the limit to go beyond the scientific schools is in a system of methods, tools, and criteria that are more effective. Alternatively, it is an attempt to construct a system of practices in the areas for which scientific methodology is not working. It can be caused by the collision of many subject areas involved in this activity (Johnson, Onwuegbuzie, & Turner, 2007).

The ability to prove their judgment and deny (if required) the arguments of opponents is important in scientific research (Morgan, 2007). Argumentation, built on the laws of logic, helps scientists to solve these problems. Reasoning is a purely logical process, the essence of which is that it substantiates the validity of the judgments with the help of other arguments. Argumentation succeeds when it is complied with the rules of evidence.

The thesis of the proof has to be formulated clearly and legibly. It is crucial for the requirement in the formulation of the thesis to avoid ambiguity. Otherwise, any error in the choice of words, the possibility of alternative interpretations of the phrase, fuzzy form of writing can be interpreted against the author.

The topic for the dissertation is Compare and contrast Law Enforcement cultures of interdiction and investigation. The purpose statement of this research topic is to find similarities and differences in the interdiction and investigation. That will help identify the common issues of the interdiction and investigation and find the most suitable Law Enforcement culture. According to the Edmondson's and McManus' archetypes of the methodological fit, the intermediary type is the most suitable to research the proposed topic (Edmondson & McCanus, 2007). The paper is aimed at analyzing the theoretical basement and hypotheses posted in the Law Enforcement culture. It is also focused on the building of the logical underlying of the essence of the phenomenon works.
