She's earning her strutting stripes

Australian Indigenous model Samantha Harris has already earned her strutting stripes when it comes to the catwalk.

And on Saturday the 24-year-old showed the other up and coming clothes horses she knows how to wear a dress well when made her debut at Sydney's Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival.

Samantha walked the runway for Target, showing consumers the must-have looks for this season.

Looking ready for the races in a flowing full-length multi-coloured floral maxi dress, which featured a cross over halterneck, cinched in around the waist with a sash.

Completing the spring racing inspired look, the dress was paired with patent nude pointed toe heels, a soft blue satin clutch and a mint green fascinator.

The international model also walked the catwalk in a clashing print monochrome ensemble.

He look combined high-waisted casual pants with a sleeveless collared crop-shirt, which was tied in a centre knot just above her waist, leaving a little midriff on display.

Another look, centred on burnt orange cropped trousers, added a splash of colour on the runway.

The statuesque brunette modeled the pants with a matching orange and black floral print long sleeved, v-neck shirt.

The outfit was accessories with chunky black heel sandals and a small black cross-body bag and belt.

The New South Wales native flew in from Toronto, Canada to Sydney for the event, which is a consumer led festival showcase the current season trends and the latest looks by Australian designers all available in-store now.

Also at the chain-store's show was former Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch, who strutted her stuff on the catwalk in a number of different looks, as did international model Anna Vitale.

X-Factor judge Dannii Minogue was also on hand as her Petites range got a turn on the runway, while Samantha Jade provided some entertainment, performing as the models walked out on the stage at the end of the show.

Dannii and pint sized popstar shared a moment as the pair danced on stage together as the models exited the runway.
