There are all kinds of brides in the world – some are like Monica Geller from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. who have planned and dreamed about their wedding day almost their entire lives. Then there are the Robin Scherbatsky type, for whom wedding days (even if it is their own) aren’t that big a deal. Then there are all the women who lie somewhere in between these two extremes – who wish for weddings as elegant as possible but they are not overly fixated on the tiny details. If you are the best friend for a bride that falls into the third category, you are in serious trouble my friend.

Chances are it must be time by now for you to start planning for her bachelorette party. Now you know your best friend has high expectations from the celebration but you also know that she might not really flip out on you if you don’t plan it right. But hey.. Its your BFFs bachelorette – her last wild and fun night out as a single woman before the big day – and you don’t want to disappoint her. I’d say its time that you start planning that unique bachelorette party you promised your best friend in all those late-night-chats you had with her in the past about her dream wedding.

And now the bewilderment begins as well..

What direction will you choose to move in? What sort of a party will you throw? Who all will be invited? How will you entertain the guests? What bachelorette party favours will be the best, in your opinion? And most importantly, what party theme will be most appreciated by the bride to be?

I would suggest you relax, take a few hours break and distance yourself from all possible distractions. Oh yeah, grab a pen and paper too in case some ideas pop into your head. What I want you to do is go back into your mind to all those times when you and your best friend has those discussions about what she wanted her wedding to be like. In all the years of your friendship, she must have mentioned her preferences to you, in some or the other format. Maybe she reacted to the arrangements at someone else’s bachelorette party. Maybe she said something about a dream vacation she wanted to have with her gals. Or maybe she has been letting you on about her intentions for the celebrations in subtle hints which you might have mistakenly ignored. Think.. think.. think..

Jot down anything coming to you on that paper. Some bachelorette party game that your friend felt was lame.. Some venue option that seemed tacky to her.. Or that party theme that she really enjoyed.. This research is highly important on your part to ensure that you don’t make the wrong choice. If you need more help and tips, the internet can be your friend and guide. Do a quick scan on the web to find out which trends are in and which are outdated. Or simply visit Thebach.com for the most interesting inspirations.
