The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE as we know it commonly is a national-level educational body for both public and private schools and comes under the direct control of the Government of India. The board was officially formed in the year 1962 with the sole purpose to make a common standard and platform for every student in the country. Beginning from only 302 affiliated schools in 1962 there are 20000+ CBSE affiliated schools in the country today.
Owing to the simple and lighter syllabus and the presence of CBSE-affiliated schools in almost all the cities across the country, the board has become one of the most popular choices of learning. Also, as the number of CBSE schools is much higher than any other board, this makes switching schools much easier without hampering the academic year, especially if the student has to move to a different state. Whether the CBSE schools are in Chikkabanavara in Bangalore or in some other city the uniformity in the syllabus allows the students to pick up the momentum easily.

The training sessions were organized to help the schools resolve the queries related to the new process, and get clarity on the same. The board of education has also planned to set up a f facilitation center to address queries of the schools related to the revised affiliation system, and regarding the inspection committees responsible to conduct a virtual inspection.
The standards which CBSE has set assures that schools provide good and proper education to their students. However, the final quality of education that the students will receive depends upon the schools they are enrolled in rather than the board itself.
